Perenthian Islands, Malaysia, as beautiful as the Seychelles!

Have you heard of the Perenthian Islands? No ? Here we are, once again, in Malaysia and it’s paradise!

Somewhere in the east of Malaysia is a little treasure: the Perenthian Islands. The islands, because there are two of them.
One is rather backpacker, the other is more chic but still affordable. It is the kingdom of white sand, turquoise water, multicoloured fish, coconut palms and jungle. These islands are very small, it is easy to go around them in a fisherman’s boat. It is just as easy to cross them through the jungle, to come face to face with facetious monkeys or tropical spiders.
20 metres from the shore the sea is teeming with parrot fish, reef sharks (harmless), turtles, barracudas, rays, octopus and clowns, nothing but!
The water is crystal clear, the waves are wise, if I’m not a big fan of sunbathing seashores, I have found at the Perenthians a real sweetness of life, the sand is white and soft, the sunsets languorous and the breeze light. A good listener!
